Hi Mr. Rabuse. I wrote drum loops for you.
When I made my drum loops, I did my best to create a sort of oddly synchopated sort of thing, even if I failed at that immensely. I like it when drum fills kind of quiet down for a bit as to add suspense and a little bit of the break for the listener before going into the next drum loop, which in this is in 6/8 time.
I hope you enjoy this and whatnot :D

Nice job with your syncopation! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syncopation)
ReplyDeleteI really like your first pattern and the space you left after the fill. Your second pattern is quite syncopated as well, (BTW, it isn't in 6/8 time, but I can show you how to do that) and you could have created great contrast by instead using a simple 4 on the floor beat. You also could have utilized the panning controls a bit more to enhance your stereo field.
I like your work, and you show great control over the drum programing tools. Good job.
Thank you :D
